Trail Breaker Wellness Services

Those of us in the caretaking professions are used to giving our all each day to those in our care. We work with patients who cannot advocate for themselves, and our passion is to advocate for them. We created the non profit Trail Breaker Wellness Services to help make sure you can keep doing this work, which the world so needs, by investing time in your own wellness and mental health.

Retreats for Animal Care Professionals

Adventure in Alaska

Join us for rejuvenating retreats designed for animal care professionals. Immerse yourself in nature with hiking, kayaking, and yoga. Engage in mindfulness practices and guided discussions. Learn burnout management strategies and foster community connections. Escape the routine and embrace a transformative experience in the heart of Alaska.

Our retreats are currently on hold for a few reasons: costs of fuel, food and lodging in Alaska are sky high at the moment, making even a modest retreat quite price prohibitive. We strive to find a way to make our experiences approachable to all animal care professionals, and hope that our recent 501(c)3 status will give us more avenues to get creative in keeping our retreats accessible. If you are interested in a Trail Breaker Retreat, please reach out so we can get to know you and when we make it happen in the future, you'll be on our list!
